Brighton & Hove Youth Council
The youth council is made up of 13 to 19-year olds nominated from local schools and youth groups, and provides opportunities for young people to develop negotiation, public speaking, teamwork and leadership skills.
CXK Youth Employability Service
YES is a free advice and guidance service for 16 to 18 year-olds in East Sussex who are at risk of being or are not in education, employment or training (NEET). It offers one-to-one guidance on study and training options, CVs and interview skills, and more.
i-Rock drop-in service
An East Sussex virtual drop-in service for young people aged 14 to 25 living in Hastings and Rother, offering advice and support for emotional and mental wellbeing, employment, education and housing.
Jamie’s Farm
Provides vulnerable school students with a residential week on a working farm near Lewes, with the aim of improving behaviour, engagement and self-esteem through farming tasks and therapy.
Joff Youth Centre, Peacehaven
Runs youth support groups to increase social, communication and independent living skills – LGBTQ meet-ups to yoga and Zumba classes to advice on substance misuse and sexual health.
Sussex Clubs for Young People
A leading provider of youth clubs and events across East and West Sussex and Brighton & Hove, supporting over 140 clubs offering activities ranging from go-karting to scuba-diving tasters to build young people’s skills and confidence.
